Aside from PiwiWiwi getting more urgent I've been getting a good workout too. The surf started working on Saturday & from then until Tuesday I've been in twice a day so that's seven surfs in four days. This morning the wind was up so I went for a run instead! Getting fitter & surfing a lot is doing great things. I'm now surfing Whale bay which is more tricky but more rewarding than Manu. I ventured out to Indicators for my last session & that is just a crazy wave. Amazing, fast, powerful but scary too. It would have chewed me into little pieces when we first arrived; even a month ago I think it would have battered me. It didn't bite me this time so I'm smiling a lot! Also, I timed it & we live 3 minutes' drive from the surf beach. That's amazing & we'd better not forget how lucky we are on dull days.
The prep for project 'grey water' is going ok. I picked up my 1/4 Toyota from the scrapyard today so I have the bit of the van's floor/chassis that I have to fit the tank into in a nice, manageable chunk under the house at the mo. That will be what I do when all the vans, not just one, are finished.
Aside from surf & work, we are meeting people, socialising, getting stuck in mud & almost getting on with a normal life. We're both eager to finish the van/company prep & have more time for other things. Soon we'll be there, hopefully...
